نبذه تعريفية

Le To mbeau de Menna The tomb of Menna, located in Sheikh Abd el-Gournah, is one of the famous tombs in the Theban necropolis.

Menna, the owner of tomb TT69, was a royal employee in the 18th Dynasty, who seems to have lived during the reign of Thutmosis IV. He was mainly responsible for the agricultural fields, which is affirmed by his title“ scribe of the fields of the Lord of the Two Lands”.

From the decorations and texts preserved on the walls, we can identify some members of his family. His wife who is presented on almost all the scenes was named Henouttawy and had the titles of “ Lady of the House” and “Singer”.
