توصيف الموقع :

The Red Sea coast has been famous through ages with its important ports and commercial centers despite the difficulty of navigation due to the roughness of the bottom and the abundance of coral reefs that may be hit by ships. These navigation problems lead to the drawn of several ships through ages. In 1994, the Marine Archaeology Mission in Sadana Island uncovered the shipwreck of a trade ship dating to the 18th century. Although the ship is empty now after its contents were stolen, the Mission extracted many ceramic, copper and glass objects together with thousands of pottery vessels and Chinese Porcelain. The ship's hull and part of its cargo are still submerged.
