The mission of the General Administration of Monuments, sunken at this site since 1999. The survey and excavation have found fragments of pottery and various types of amphorae, which are likely to be associated with the wreckage of sunken ships. The remains of a Roman ship soaked in the center of the bay, which still show some archaeological elements on the bottom, have been found so far, and rock-cut basins are likely to be used for fish farming. Parts of the docks of a small port also appeared. Remains of an old quarry for the extraction of yellow limestone, which was used in the construction of ancient Roman pavements and basins, were also found.
